Mullin's Fancy

Anyone know where I can find the music for Mullin’s Fancy? I’ve done a web search, ABC Tunefinder, as well as searching this forum and…nada. Thanks for any help.

Denny

Mullin’s Fancy is a.k.a. The Strawberry Blossom, The Boys of Ballynahinch, Christmas Eve. Try that and see if you have better results. (I’m using Packie Dolan’s 1928 recording as reference)

There is a single jig version of it in Ceol Rincce na hE. vol 1 called Christmas eve.
In David Taylor’s book Music for the sets [the yellow book]is a version which he call ‘Mullen’s fancy’

Seamus Ennis had another name for it, I think he called it the Leitrim Lilt or something like that.

Thanks guys. Found it in the ABC Tune Finder as Christmas Eve, aka Boys of Ballynahinch.

Really appreciate it!
