The 2 ladies are in Aberdeen TONIGHT, [ The Blue Lamp, in the Gallowgate, - 8.00pm, for a very reasonable £5.00 ], - if anyone’s around, - accompanied by “Danu’s” Eamon Doorley on bouzouki and Ross Martin on guitar. I’m finishing my Wednesday night whistle class early, and we’re going along en-masse to appreciate and enjoy the music of who I think is the best whistle-player in Scotland at the moment, and certainly the best Gaelic singer. Add some Irish songs and flute-playing from Muireann, and this might be the best gig in Aberdeen this year. I’ll let you know how it goes.
