Mountain Road

I need some help with Mountain Road, if anyone is familiar with the tune. I use sheet music to get me started with tunes I don’t have recordings of, and the music I have for Mountain Road contains some low Bs, which I obviously can’t reach with my D whistle. It doesn’t sound right to substitute with the higher B… Does anyone have a suggestion of what I could replace it with? It’s in the last bar of the song, as well as the last bar before the repeat. I don’t know how to do ABC notation, but the note grouping goes:

GEFD, EDBD (all eighth notes)

Thanks in advance for any help,

raising them the octave is the way to do it and it doesn’t sound all that off.

I would go G3 F EDBD

Willie Clancy went GFGF EDBF [and in the second part 3GFE 3FED EB B2
