Does anyone know the location of one Rod Chamberlain(e).I was just
looking at a pictyre of us playing together about 11 years ago.He was an
art student at Staffordshire University (or it could have been Stoke Poly
then).He hailed from Winchester and mainly played the banjo ,while a
beautiful Froment half-set languished under his bed.I very nearly bought
them off him when he was strapped for cash,but his name engraved on
the mainstock would have haunted me every time I played them.So I
lent him the money,and amazingly I got it back!
I think he mentioned going to Spain the last time I saw him.
I think he’s currently manufacturing pipes at Wal-mart.

Rufus, was he a member of NPU? If he was [and still is?] email Terry. He might have the old (new) records for you to get in contact with him. I’m going through a similar system with NPU. As I’ve heared of a local piper in my area. Hopefully Mary Walsh or Terry Moylan will come up with something. It might take a while though.
