This is not mine, but I thought some might be interested in this. http://cgi.ebay.com/Irish-Flute-by-Michael-Cronnolly_W0QQitemZ250402964477QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item250402964477&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A3|39%3A1|240%3A1318
Hi,
Do you think this is an authentic M&E flute?
I have an M&E Rudall & Rose polymer flute, with an endcap similar to the one illustrated on Michael Cronolly’s website, http://www.irishflutes.net/mef/RandR.html
The endcap on the eBay flute is much plainer. Has Michael Cronolly made any changes to his R&R model in the last few years?
Just wondering.
Michael has changed his endcap numerous times. I think this is authentic.
Somebody is going to get a great deal. But then M&E’s always are, more or less. Sort of like a Glen Grant

He’s made several different styles. This end cap is in-between, as it’s a plain flute ringless and all. I had one of his R&R flutes that just had M&E flutes stamped in the end cap, and I had one on loan once that had the really ornate end cap.
Looks pretty much exactly like mine… This is a great flute!

This flute looks pretty legit, and the guy seems to know what he is talking about.
The end cap is exactley the same as my M&E six-keyed polymer which, by the way, I want to sell. I’m open to offeres.
