I just got this email christmas card from colin and brigitte, i thought i’d share it with you all. This forum has become very dear to me, i have made, so far, virtual friendships with quite a few people here, all thanks to our Dale.

Merry Chiffmas to one and all!
Especial thanks to those people who have shown me kindness from afar over the past year, with no expectation of, or desire for, reward. You know who you are, and I can only say that I appreciate your generosity more than I can express in words (or whistles, or Guava Jelly).
A big smacker under the Mistletoe for Dale, for without this board my life would be lacking that extra zing that puts a sparkle in the eye. I owe more of my current happiness to Dale than he knows, and have formed friendships with people through this board that will last a lifetime.
The give and take, the frank exchange of views, and the genuine good-natured banter on this board (and the occasional bit of whistle-related information) reaffirm my confidence in the goodness of human nature. We may have different political views or religious beliefs, but we share a common spirit of kindness, helpfulness, and generosity with our time and knowledge.
I’ve met far too few of you good people in person, yet, but am looking forward to meeting many more Chiffers over the coming years.
