I have an opportunity to buy a used Merlin polymer Low D (www.merlin-music.com). Not much in the archives about Merlins here, som wondering if anyone has any opinions simce the last time it came up. This is the only Low D I’ve had a chance to play…and I’m not playing it too well at this point!..but it seems like a good instrument, my shortcomings aside. I don’t think I’m ever going to be much of a low whistler, but I’d like to have one to work on.
If I want it, I have to make an offer…it currently sells for 65 pounds/c. 131 dollars Canadian. It’s in good shape. How do you determine what a fair price would be? Thanks.
