I am afraid if you took the lines away, I would see no connection at all. What does this say about my character? Am I totally insane or merely a blithering idiot?
Perhaps I would be better off if I went to the doctor and asked him to prescribe something for me, as I am obviously lacking in something. Maybe one of those pills they sell on TV? Some Ambien, maybe? Or Paxil? What about “The New Little Purple Pill”? Wait…that’s for your esophagus. Oh heck, that’ll do.

It’s Plato’s ‘original’ elephant (or an imperfect portrayal of it - obviously it is impossibl eto have a perfect picture of the perfect elephant unless it was the ‘original’ elephant picture, which is impossible).
