Seems I missed something here. I mustn’t have been paying attention.
I think the comments have to do with the echo we are getting in this thread. 
But seriously, I understand the irritation with the US shipping only. Sorry, everybody. The problem is that the set isn’t old enough to fall under the CITES allowances for ivory, but Matt isn’t still alive (RIP) to write a note saying he made the ivory mounts from old billiard balls (or whatever). So it appears very difficult to get CITES approval.
At the end of the day, I dedided it wasn’t worth risking having customs saw off the mounts. They are too cool looking as they are.
Again, I am deeply sorry to my fellow Irish pipers. I think the set should return to Ireland. I just am not willing to be the one to do the moving.
