Hi all,

Does anyone know anything about Martin Carrigan? He makes reeds. I hear he makes the odd set of pipes also. Just wondering, I see he is thanked on one of Liam O’Flynn’s CD covers.

Martin Carrigan is a very private man who lives in Co Kilkenny, from a family that is presently in it’s sixth generation of pipers. He is considered THE man for reeding Rowsome pipes. He makes reeds and does repair/restoration work for Liam Flynn, Padraig Macmathuna, Sean Talty and others.
