There’s just something striking about astronaut pictures.
They’re always so… unapologetically bright.
Yeah… No cloud haze and no smog.
And nobody ever puts vaseline on the lens! (So far…)
There’s no air, period. Everything is clear and focused. But don’t dismiss the photography talents of the astronauts, either. They are all well trained in camera use as part of their overall training for work in space.

All pictures of astronauts seem like they’re from the 1970s to me. I’m not totally sure why.
-The astronaut’s position indicates recliner-like leisure with remote in one hand and beverage in the other.
“Yes, Dear. I know I promised to jettison the garbage and fix the oxygen filter. I promise I’ll do it when we finish this orbit.”
Space Photography technology has come a long way since then.
