Chris, that spot in the Grand Canyon is notorious. It isn’t nearly as risky as it appears in the photo, and the photo of the photographer is nearly as spectacular as the shot he gets from his perch.
Slow news day. Only the one bomb in Exeter.

But when I read it they included the photo of the interconnecting ledge and it still looked like a stupid jump to try to me.
Every year a couple of people die at the Grand Canyon by doing stuff this stupid, though. Each time I’ve gone, I’ve seen people scrambling out to incredibly idiotic places to have their picture taken. While this one was a hoax, it wouldn’t have surprised me one bit if it had been true.
