Maiden of the House

Does anyone have a copy of “Maiden of the House” as played by Todd Denmann? Anything even close would be appreciated. I have tried the ABC tune-finder and H Norbek’s site, but no luck.

Thanks

Virgil

Are you possibly thinking of “Mistress of the House”? This tune has appeared on every Denman
recording. Here’s the abc that I have:

Excellent! That is it. I appreciate the help.

And thanks for a nice waltz!

I am a “newbie” and I do not understand the abc musical notation.. Is there an explanation of it on the Web somewhere? Thank you all. Stan

These sites will help get you started with abc notation and some of the software associated with it.

http://www.gre.ac.uk/~c.walshaw/abc/
http://home1.swipnet.se/~w-11382/abc.htm
http://www.execpc.com/~jimvint/

This is the anglicised name for the tune “Bean a’ Tí”, “The Woman of the House”.

But really… what’s in a name

Patrick.
