Well, they were. 
Kevin Crawford told a great story about a new tune they played called “Come Back With My Car.” He said Donogh had written it just the previous week because his car was stolen the night before they left on tour. He said Donogh got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, wearing “nothing but his smile.” He heard the familiar sound of his car being started, looked out the window and saw it being driven away. He ran down the stairs, picking up a poker from the fireplace as he ran by, then heading out the door to try to catch the thief. Needless to say he didn’t catch the guy, but he did cause a three car pileup when the drivers saw his…poker.
