You know the story.First you build a simple fife and then gradually you try the lower you can reach.If you live the music like a connection with something inside you, that in a perfect instant touches the outside and the whole universe in a simple vibration,I think that lower notes help us to reach that state of harmony.Low notes are more like wind or like earth,while higher notes are more like living beings(insects,birds,children,intentional movement).Each have a moment.
I am now looking for that primary breath from wich everything else emerge.
So,here comes the question wich has nothing to do with all this phylosophical diving..
Has anyone of you amateur flute builders have ever tried any kind of simple recreation of those really low flutes you may see sometimes over there played by people like e.g. Brian Dunning?
I am thinking on trying one,out of pvc pipes and two 90ยบ angled joints,but I have no idea if it will take too much space between the finger holes and wich would be the right lenght.
Could anyone help me?.Thank you
