Low F Whistles Part 2

Well back in Febuary (I could have sworn it was around April but time flyes) I posted about Low F whsitles and how I was planning to buy one here is the topic http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php?t=25789&highlight=low Well I decided to snatch up a good deal on a Chieftan Low F for $90 (yes the one Talbert was selling). I should get it on Monday I am so excited as you can see I have been wanting one of a long time. I also just finnished paying my parnet back for the GHBs I am now debt free  guess it was just agood day for finances.

Congrats on the purchase. Aluminum is good, but Brass is better…LOL…

Just giving you a hassle…

And wood is the BEST!

Got Wood?

But something is always better than nothing.

Hi Avery - You WILL LOVE this whistle!

Interestingly, I know, because I bought one (from Tal) about a year ago, and it is WAY up on my list of favorites. It’s certainly my favorite “low”.

As you might expect, more responsive on faster stuff than a low D, but still quite low enough to give the proper ‘low whistle’ effects (haunting, visceral, etc. etc. etc…). It is a superb whistle.

I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

ENJOY!

LEE

Being able to play along to all those Lunasa Tunes with the Low F whistles that is what started me thinking of getting one..

Just got my Gold F from Keith yesterday, and have to agree with everything above. I love this whistle! Can’t wait for our next band practice to use it on a couple of new songs we’re learning…

Got it today and I love it already.
