Does anyone know of a maker that does a Delrin low B-flat flute - or even low A?

Check with David Copley. He made me a fantastic Delrin C. I’ve got a Delrin Eb of his that’s a cracker, too.

it never hurts to ask again, but i don’t believe Mr. Copley will make you a Bb; i asked him before and he doesn’t have the reamers he would need. maybe if enough people asked him though he would get some made. :slight_smile:

i remember asking Mr. Forbes if he would ever make delrin flutes in other keys, and he said he had one (i think Eb) “in development” but i asked him to email me if he ever has one for sale and never heard anything. again, never hurts to check again.

the other person that has one listed is Carl Bell; he never responded to any email i sent him but he makes Bb flutes and has delrin flutes (he calls them acetyl) listed on his website:
