I seriously consider acquiring either an Overton Mezzo Soprano A or an Alto G. (WhOA, definitively!)
Which one you people out there consider more useful?
Thanx,

Hey Chris,
The A will also allow you to play in the key of D. The G will also allow you to play in the key of C. So it depends on which key you use more often.
Of course if you really have WhOA . . .
You’ll get them both! ![]()
Vinny
Well, Chris,
Vinny is absolutely right, you’ll end up with both of them anyway (I know about WhOA, trust me), but if you have to start with one, I’d recommend Colin’s A, it’s a touch sweeter than the G. But they’re both beautiful and useful whistles.
Also … wer A sagt muss auch G sagen, get 'em both.
Cheers - Gruss
Claus
I play a lot with people who play
in C, so a G whistle is more helpful
to me, personally. But an A whistle
is helpful, too, no doubt about it.
So I have both (but they’re Copelands).
