You don’t see this happening very often. It’s like losing a wallet full of cash and getting it all back, or having your car stolen and getting it back undamaged with the tank full - once in a blue moon.
Has anybody made an attempt at getting in touch with the person whose chanter was stolen?

…now, the real question is, if the reed is still in place and intact! It’d be more realistic if the reed was missing, rather like getting your wallet back without the cash and credit cards…
