Losing my C?

I’m a brand new whistle player, I picked up a clark sweet-tone high D about 2 weeks ago and have been having a blast. Well starting yesterday my C and C sharp is sounding REALLY terrible, it never sounded great but it is getting worse. Could I have damaged the whistle some way?..is this a common problem? thanks for any help you can give me.

I have a Sweetone D too, and I sometimes encounter the same problem. After some experimenting, I found something that works: leave the whistle in the fridge overnight. Now I haven’t a clue why this works, or even if I should be doing it, but.. its worth a try!

If the fridge doesn’t do it,
maybe you should clean the windway.
Wooden coffee stirrers work OK.

I’m dying to know what other experiments you tried! How on earth did you come up with this one?
