Loose metal lining

Hi,
I have a problem, the metal lining on my flute is getting a bit loose (the lining between the head and the barrel) . Does anyone have a tip for fixing it or do I have to get the flute repaired (if it is even possible). I am not sure if it influences the tone.

That shouldn’t be happening. Yes, it will affect the tone, as well as create an air leak somewhere down the line.
It’s not something you should try to fix. Contact the maker immediately and talk to them about sending the head joint in for an overhaul.
