I have a Boxwood Pratton that I want to swap for a Olwell Cocus Pratton. My Flute is only 1 year old and is a sweet flute that can still give you the honk when you want it. I am in the maket for a harder sound and the boxwood has a more buttery make up. I love my flute and it breaks my heart that I am doing this but I feel that my playing is leaning toward a harder sound. Let me know if anyones intrested.

I guess I would consider blackwood it’s just that I love cocus. I am also fortunate that I am not allergic to it. 
Yet.
Cocus in my opinion has a little harder edge to it. Just my opinion and not fact.

This is John, the lefty guy in Damian’s class at Swannanoa. Just another wee bump for the flute in question.
I’ve (briefly) played it and it is indeed a very nice instrument. Great tone, good condition, good player, etc. Sounds much better when Josh played it though.

Alas, I wish I was allergic to a cocus Olwell instead of a cocus Hamilton …
I talked to John S. last week after his return and he also mentioned Damien as a monster player, and that he was lots of fun to boot.
Now I gotta go track Teada down (next paycheck).
