I’d like a Burke aluminum G. Anybody have one? I’d kinda like to get my hands on a Burke A as well.

Hey Doc,
I thought you won the bid for the Burke Composite G on eBay a couple or three weeks ago. I was watching it to see what it would go for. I’m keeping my composite G for now.

Nope, I decided not to bid anymore. I absolutely love the sound of the composite Burkes. They are very close to the sound of a wooden whistle at much less cost and zero maintenance.
My only concern about them is they are a little fragile (can be chipped).
Having 13 kids (most of whom love to play Dad’s whistles) I’ve come to prefer whistles that are little more bullet-proof. ![]()

I’m with you on the sound of the composites. I’ve wanted to trade my Eyer G for a composite Burke G for a while now. 13 kids? Really? That’s awesome! I’ve got 6 and wouldn’t mind more.
Yeah there really are 13

There’s a picture of the whole herd on my website.
