I thinks it’s a Dixon Bb whistle.
In this moments there are four options suggested:
1- Kerrypro/chieftain
2- Overton
3- John Sindt
4- Dixon

Yeah, maybe it could be a Laughing whistle Bb but I still think it’s a Dixon.

I think that sound is very similar to the clip you posted.
Hmmm… Track 4 on Farewell to Evening Dances, eh? Definitely a Bb. I can’t find my copy of the CD to check the liner notes, but my guess would be a Generation Bb.
Sounds just like a Dixon to me… that sweet, “closed” sound…
Also it seems the mic was near the end of the whistle, not close to the window so it could be difficult to identify the sound.
