It’s mainly a GHP group but if you’ll scroll down a ways you’ll find the alternative pipes group.

Look at www.nspipes.co.uk/nsp/
Then scroll down to “mailing list” for information on being a “list” member.
BTW, don’t expect the piper’s society to be as “exciting” as this forum or the “list” for that matter. 
Never a cross word or the slagging off of members as they will not tolerate it one iota. However, it is informative (if somewhat dull), useful for those with pipes related problems and the members on the whole are generous with their time and advice and are indeed friendly lot.
