I know, I know… How COULD I?!! First of all, ask for sheet music..! 'N secondly, why not figger it out by ear?
Well, I gotta have this off by Monday. 'N my ear can’t transpose from what my head hears to the chanter or whistle; my head hears it in just one key, which is NOT “D” sadly..
{Sigh} Any help would be most appreciated.

The dulcimer music is good, but you’ll either have to go up the octave(How’s your octave B working?) or where you see D on the sheet, play an A and work from there. If you nip into a church tomorrow, have a look though the hymnal or talk to organist.

I printed out the music from the dulcimer link and from the Patriotic Music site. Between 'em, I’ll have this off tomorrow. I can already render a passable version on whistle, and from there it’s an easy step to the pipes. Plus, the comment about transposing up from the dulcimer sheet works very well.
So I’m (almost) set. 
That’s a load off my mind!!
