I’ve been trying to figure out the whistle part to Liz Berlin’s whistle melody in Rusted Root’s “Send Me on My Way.” and I’m stumped.
Does any one know if the sheet music exists
anywhere?

Is that in D?? I have that CD but it’s in Seattle. Hmm good idea. If someone can get me the clip of that section I can try to transcribe it.
OK, someone got me a clip (It’s ok, folks, it’s not the whole song, and I own the cd, just it’s on the wrong side of the country). The whistle is in C, not D, and it’s all played in the second octave, which was neat because I could poke at it in the first octave and not bug my housemates.
I was sent two clips, a long and a short. Here’s the short part, which I think is earlier in the song. There are just the note values, not durations, and it’s all in one octave, remember. In my own notation habits I tend to put a comma to signify a long note or pause, and brackets to signify a quick passage.

Here’s the long bit, kind of a mid tune whistle solo if I recall correctly. Still all in one octave.
