hey all…I’m looking for the cup/mainstock/drones and regs that go with the pakistani set known as “model #7” on the www.silverbushmusic.com website. Does anybody recognize this as something they’ve seen for sale, or may have for sale for less than the website is asking?
I have the practice set from many moons ago and am looking to tie in a mainstock for use as a spare set.

They are offering drones at $399 and regulators at $799
I have bought a practice chanter and a three keyed uilleann chanter from them, and was suprised at the quality of the workmanship. The reeds supplied however were not up to the standard of the chanter. I used one of Chris Dixon’s plastic reeds in it and it sings.
Ask Joseph E Smith about them, from the pictures he put up of his Pakistani chanter it seems to be the same as mine, so maybe he dealt with them as well.
When you get your set up and running, post a clip on clips and snips.

yes, I saw them (there are two up on ebay)…Otherworlds just sells the “other” pakistani set.
There is a very strong possibility that those are the drones that I’m looking for, but they exceed what I can pay…and besides, I already have a bag, bellows, and working chanter of that set.
I was hoping to pick up the components that i needed from someone who had maybe bought the drones or the regs only to discover they didn’t fit, or weren’t satisfied with them once they upgraded to a real set…or just cannibalized a set and had parts left over.
and travhicks is right…she’s got the blowpipe in the wrong place…i’d had to see what reed-mangling it took to get it there…
old-timey piper said they weren’t mideastern…lol…i think the old-timey piper needs a new-timey prescription for some new glasses…
Maybe the PakIrish factory has refurbished or sets with blemishes not up to their stringent quality standards - a chance to pick up a diamond in the rough.

Antaine, I purchased my set from ‘The Harp and the Dragon’ online.. run a google search, though I don’t believe that they are the model you are looking for.
BigDavy’s suggestion of ‘Other Worlds’ might be the route to take.
