i love my burke low D pro comp., she’s just inside my range in holespacing. but i can’t find a low C that’s within this range. unless i switch to metal, but i’m allergic to alliminium and brass. so all there’s left is synthetic and wood, i pray to find her
Tony Dixon makes a low C in plastic.The stretch on his whistles is very forgiving.Lowest Dixon whistle I’ve tried is an ‘F’, though,so I can’t comment further.
What about fellow chiffer Daniel Bingamon here who makes the hole spacing and layout (straight, offset, diagonal) on request?
He’s a really fine fellow, and will always to try to suit you tastes or special requests.

I second all of Zubivka’s remarks. I would also point out that Daniel makes keyed whistles so you might find that if you have difficulties with just one or two holes he can make you an instrument with easily accessible keys for just those holes. Just send him an email and discuss your idea with him.

i posted this topic last night and got very quick reply. but believe it or not,i’ll tackle that burke low C. untill yesterday, the only whistles i could play were a high D/high C sharp/low G/low F sharp/low D.
i never play the sharps but i just mention them to let you understand, i bought 13 cane whistles from high G to low G for 30 euro’s, handy for dedecting keys and whistle sizes.
i’ve got a long history of back problems, 3 years ago i went to 3 different osteopaths, they couldn’t find anything wrong. i stertched my body every day for the last six months and did allot of tai chi.
today i popped something back in place and play high C/ high Bb/low F and probably, low C burke along with the others! i still can’t play any Eb/B/or low A . but there’s still your man form the jubilee whistles, if this
won’t cure in time. anyway i’m very happy you send me his webside. i never try to stretch my fingers on a whistle, this i do with the hole body, but it surely works on your hands aswell!
