I’m an accomplished guitarist, and I played the Highland pipes for several years and took up the whistle in '98, but more for improvisational enjoyment than anything else. I’d like to meet another player who is versed in the traditional Irish style and would be willing to get together from time to time (maybe we could trade whistle instruction for guitar lessons?)
There is a session at Borders (91 and Metcalf 8pm) on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, and a slow session at the Unitarian Church on the Plaza 1st and 3rd Thursdays. You’ll meet some fine players at either.
