Hi all,
I need to find either a recording of, or notation for, a Morris tune called “Abram’s Circle.” The kids are going to be learning the dance that goes with this tune, and my usual source, the Seabright Morris Tune ABC Library, is coming up empty (there is one tune there called “Abram Brown” that I thought might be what I was looking for, but when I tried to import it to ABC2WIN, it came up as “no ABC code in file”).
Any help appreciated!

Is this it? I downloaded it from http://www.ucolick.org/~sla/morris/music/abclib.html and BarFly opened it (on my Mac). It sounds okay. The music notation wa all compressed, but removing the backslashes () at the end of each line fixed that. I didn’t remove them here, because I thought they might work okay in other software.

I bet that’s it, or close to (Seabright tends to use shorter versions of Morris Tunes…not sure why). I’ve never heard the tune before, which is why I’ve been searching for notation. I’ll play it for the Morris teacher and see if it’s the one she means.
