Looking for a new place to stay in East Durham

So my wife has given her blessing for me to take my every other year trip to Irish Arts Week. So far I’ve stayed at the Shamrock House every time, and while it’s been ok, I thought I’d try someplace else this year.

Any suggestions? I tried Gavins but they’re already booked.

I personally think accomodation prices for this festival are getting higher and higher, while quality is going down. I might just find a floor to sleep next year in exchange for some money, but that’s not for everyone
