Hi,
I am looking for a graphic designer with piping sensibilities. I have not hired a graphic designer before so I am not exactly sure what I am in for or what costs might be but I need a logo. I have promoted concerts in my community for over 5 years [not my music but the likes of Tommy Peoples, Paddy Keenan, Len Graham, Seamus Tansey and many others] and the need for a logo has only just come up.
I am not a visual/graphic artist and except to say that I will know what I like when I see it. I don’t have any specific guidelines. My non-specific list includes:
= Uilleann pipe related image(s) would be welcome but are not required.
= The name associated with my concerts is “Piper’s Hut”, “Piper’s Hut Concerts”, “Piper’s Hut Concert Series” or any of the preceding with the word “The” prepended.
= I am not interested in using celtic knots or Book of Kells type illuminations.
= Fonts should be easily readable by a 21st century public
= I do not have a particular color scheme in mind though the result [if colorful] should be able to be rendered in b/w or grey-scale easily.
If this interests you or you know someone this might interest please contact me at: mailto:pipers.hut@gmail.com
Cost will be an issue so please suggest a price range.
All the best,
Dean…K…
