Baroque flute roll or alto recorder roll should do you nicely. These are very nice, padded, zippered, any color you want as long as it’s black.
Yes, Cavallaro makes nice case covers too. I have them for my orchestral flute (Wm S. Haynes) and piccolo.

Jon C is making a wooden case for me, but it’s good to know about these other resources as well. and thanks for all the info - maybe others will be interested in some of these alternatives as well.
Heh, heh. They do of course offer other colors but… I wanted a navy blue roll from them a while back, however once I found out how much the “Custom Cut” charge was, I realized the only reasonable choice was black
