i am looking for a good, used 5, 6 or 8 key flute. I currently have a new seery large hole delrin (i love it!) and an older (made approx 1925 to 1930) German 8 key (love it to, but it tends to be a “tad” flat). I also have a Gemeinhardt.
Any suggestions would be welcome. And if anybody has some suggestions for how to bring up the German, i am open to any ideas. Is there something that can be done to the body to bring the lower register up? The second octave and what i can play of third octave are in tune… just the first octave is flat.
