Looking for 512MB ibook G3 RAM

I’m not willing to invest another $100. or so in my old ibook G3 (just had to buy a new power adapter last month and the battery is almost shot as well), so I thought I’d take a chance and see if anyone happens to have an extra, compatible PC100 or PC133 512MB memory stick lying around unused? I’ve been scouring craigslist for some time, with no luck :frowning:

I don’t have any for you Loren, but if you get stuck it isn’t that expensive from certain suppliers. These folks sell this RAM, shipping included, for $39 (PC100 or PC133).

Thanks Jef, I’ll look into it. I’ve heard about problems with some generic memory when used on with the ibook, but it seems they have Samsung listed for $20 more, so I could probably bite the bullet and do that.
