Puddleses! Puddleses they is, precious.

Wonder if we could harvest them and use them here as an energy source…

4

Hmm… logistics issues, methinks. And technical capability issues. We’d use more energy going to get the stuff than we’d gain by having it.

And do we really want to import greenhouse gases from satellites of other planets?

Tyler, is that a tongue in your cheek?

Grak!

As the time traveler on the board, I can tell you what will happen. Someone will get the idea of using atomic propulsion to get there and back. By the time they get the infrastructure in place, battery technology will have gotten to the point electric cars are better than internal combustion engine cars, so the depleted oil reserves won’t be such a big deal. They will still manage to make more than their investment back via the petrochemicals, though.

Grak!, Captain Verp Tlethl #371845332 (The anthropomorphic sehlat; look it up with a good search engine.)

surfin’ doesn’t look too good…

8

And cold if you wipeout. Wouldn’t want to swim in it!

9

Here’s hoping they don’t charge those batteries with power generated by burning fossil fuels.

People often seem to forget that the electricity for electric cars has to come from somewhere…

10

The electricity will come from the same energy source as the propulsion to get to Titan.

11

Nuke? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo… :astonished:

12

Not to mention how you’d smell afterward.

13

And you might want to think twice about striking a match to cover the odor.

14

Yoinks :boggle:

16

The surfing on Lake Superior isn’t too hot, either.
