So, is it bad form to use an Avatar that has long been identified with another forum member (Lorenzo), or is it the sincerest form of flattery?
(All this time I actually thought that was Lorenzo in the picture! Then again, maybe it is..)
That isn’t Lorenzo, though I have been told (by Lorenzo) that it is a reasonable facsimile of him. And to the best of knowledge, Lorenzo is still using that avatar.
Maybe everybody should use it…it’d be kinda fun I think.
Right, Joseph. It ain’t me. I took a hat off the internet and lassoed it on my head w/photshop, and placed the axe in my hands as a welcome to the hair splitters. The poor Dude just wants to be like me. It’s an ongoing battle. You’ll have to forgive him. He’s just getting a little disillusional from listening to that same old radio station so much…KLR.

See, with a name like “The Dude”, I was expecting a avitar of Jeff Lebowski in his open robe and a milk carton in right hand. Just would made since to me. At family functions, I’m almost required to show up in the brown robe since my uncle and cousins call me Jeff or Lebowski, or just plain, The Dude.

No, you’re not the only one who is confused… new avatar indeed, try new avatars? I thought I saw something here earlier that is no longer there, or perhaps I’ve just finally lost my mind (knew it was coming, just didn’t think it would be today).

Just for clarification…The Dude started this thread by copying my avatar and asking if y’all liked it. Then, The Dude adopted vomitbunnies avatar. What The Dude doesn’t realize is that I followed his transactions all the way, from his beginning (and before), even when he (under another username) deleted his recent and numerous references to “the dude” so know one would suspect the connection to this new user. And I watched his avatars and usernames change, yet unsynchronized with each other, which totally gave him away.
There’s no doubt in my mind who’s who! But nice try, Dude (et al)!
