I assume that Liam Og has played on one of the albums but nothing springs to mind.
Spillane has played on a Kate Bush album and Hounds of Love is on the list so maybe somebodys got their reeds crossed here.. ![]()

Liam O’Flynn has played on Kate Bush’s album, just which one, I forget - it may be Hounds of Love. Spillane plays on her version of Rocket Man which she recorded as part of a tribute to the Songs of Elton John and whoever his songwriter chum is.
Cheers,

Now we’re getting somewhere..I knew Spillane was involved somewhere along the line cos I can remember seeing him in a Kate Bush video once..(jammy b**^%$d).
Never knew Liam Og was involved as well.
Bernie Taupin is the songwriter in question.

Liam O’Flynn played with Kate Bush on three songs: “Night of the Swallow” (album “The Dreaming”), “Jig of Life” and “The Morning Fog” (album: “Hounds of Love”).
After theses albums, Davy Spillane played the Uilleann-pipe on the songs “The Sensual World”, “Never be Mine” (album: “The Sensual World”) and on “Rocket Man” (single: “Rocket Man/Candle In The Wind”). He also played the low whistle on some other songs.
Despite what you could believe watching the picture below, Kate Bush never played the Uilleann-pipe on any of her album.

It looks like she has a few issues with DEATH GRIP and fingering. ![]()
She’s doing better than the girl on Ireland’s Comhaltas stamp.
So whose pipes is she holding there - they don’t look like O’Flynns D set. His C# set perhaps? It’s the photo from the album with O’Flynn.

Okay, okay now. I think we should be able to forgive Liam´s sins about comercial music instead of quoting them again and again
.
She’s doing better than the girl on Ireland’s Comhaltas stamp.
Is there a picture of this stamp available?
Indeed you can see its the first time she is holding a set of pipes.
