Leopard kills crocodile

Wow. Click the pic for the entire series of photos.

Meow.

What can I say? After bacteria, mammals rule. Well, after roaches too.

You forgot Cher.

Still a mammal, how be it a bit hairy.

Crazy. I’ve heard that pound-for-pound, leopards are the most formidable of the big cats for strength, agility, stealth, and kill success. I’d say this one made a statement.

standin’ on a chair, inna he

The croc doesn’t seem to be very big ,I’d like to see the leopard tackle a fully grown salt water croc ,now that would be something.

RORY

ALL YOUR CROCS ARE BELONG TO US

Two of the bobcats I raised got into a food fight one day. It was a serious, to the death fight so I intervened. They each weighed about 30lbs. In just a few seconds I was devoid of a shirt and had so many lacerations I couldn’t count them. I needed ten stitches for the worst ones. The speed and strength they possessed was unbelievable. I was just thankful it wasn’t the cougar or snow leopard or I’d be pushing daisies. Of course afterwards they acted like nothing had ever happened, little buggers

With a ball of sox in his shorts.

That must have been one very hungry leopard! :astonished:

I’m not at all surprised by this; leopards are just incredible predators.

I think bobcats take the pound-for-pound prize among cats, though. As dwest pointed out, they can do severe damage to people. Although bobcat populations tend to track with rabbit populations, they’re really quite resourceful and also quite brave. There have been reports of bobcats attacking and killing deer, including one evidently well-substantiated report of a bobcat taking down a caribou. I suspect it was either a young or sick caribou, but still, for a 25-pound cat, that’s pretty impressive. (Don’t ask for a reference, I came across this doing a report in sixth grade.)

Bobcats were probably a newly evolving species back when you were in 6th grade.

Nice pics. Yikes.

Cats don’t always have a good day.

Battle at Kruger

That is the most awesome tourist video ever.
