Hi everybody, can any kind person help? I would like to learn to play Leon’ Waltz. I don’t read music too well
so if anyone can help with, where I can find the tune in tin whistle font, I would be really grateful. I have the tune on C.D. and can play a little of the tune by ear, but I am struggling to learn all the tune
, kind regards Pedro
I think you best bet would be to get a whistle fingering chart that shows the location of the note on the sheet music. Then you can just slowly right in tab and transpose if you understand that. Then you slowly by converting the sheet music by tab will learn to read music.
http://www.bigwhistle.co.uk/fingering.html is one source for the chart. not sure where to get the song though in sheet music ask and I am sure someone can find it.
thanks for your suggestions irishduffy, will download chart and keep on looking best regards Pedro ![]()
Hi Pedro: I have a fairly easy time of picking out tunes, and learned this one from a CD some time ago.
It’s late for me, but give me a day or so and I will at least give you the notes. Then you can figure it out from there.
