Sooooogood piper indeed. His trio played really good gigs, nice to hear live something from his last record “mind the pipes”.
He also made some teachings for us (3 pipers) .. think about it … .almost half of the Finlads UP players army…we are so many here indeed..ehehehe
He played with E.Curran chanter, made of boxwood, nice ,crispy and personal sound , (not so “round” as our abw’s.)
Yepp … I just can second Mikko’s comment. Good piping and a really nice set he owns. I saw him (and his “band”: Michelle O’Brien and Cyril O’Donoghue) here in Joensuu. Our local groups were also performing and I felt so poor with my piping
