LeMeur whistles

Hey, does anyone know if Jean Pierre LeMeur is making whistles these days? Haven’t seen any posts for quite awhile. Thanks! Judith

His website is up anyway. I have toyed with the idea of ordering one so i hope he’s up to it

[Thread revival. - Mod]

I just searched “lemeur” on this whistle forum and saw

2008: somebody got one, really liked it.
2012: this thread.
2013: Lars (above) was getting one.

Not much to go on.

What interests me is this recent Ebay listing

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Low-D-F-nat-key-tunable-Irish-whistle-2-sections-body/143595713795?hash=item216ef8b503:g:yQUAAOSwFLRerzFT

of a Low D in three sections (great idea) with an F natural key (another great idea).

Due to the way I hold whistles I would love having the upper and lower hands on different sections.

And an F key would be very useful indeed.

But…how do LeMeur Low Ds play? Does anyone own a LeMeur Low D and also a Low D by Goldie and/or MK and/or Burke and/or Lofgren, who could review the differences and similarities?

Thanks!
