In the YT video Elizabeth has the letter notes showing, and someone posted the letter notes in the comments section. I do not know if these notes are exactly correct, but, is what is posted.

One of the main reasons I like her videos is that the letter notes are displayed. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about computers to download and transcribe this. I can’t read regular music notation and I don’t understand the ABC notation either. :confused: Everything I have learned to play on whistle has been from filled-hole tab or a listing of notes as Elizabeth has on her videos. I have no friends or family members that have ANY understanding of music. :frowning: I just hope that if someone on the forum ever takes the time to write down the notes to the song they will display it on this site. :stuck_out_tongue:

Whistling Pops, isn’t these “letter notes” just a downgraded ABC-notation? However, here’s the ABC transcribed by MTGuru. Simply copy/paste it to http://www.folkinfo.org/songs/abcconvert.php ; there’s a drop-down menu for tabs, select whistle, select the key D (works for any whistle, it’s just because the transcription is in D), and there you go.
