Greetings fellow tinwhistlers…
Has anyone tried the “Laughing Whistle” that telescopes into a pocketable size? If so how is the intonation/volume, general performance?

I have one. Beautiful sound, very good intonation, soft sound; takes very little air. Nice for practicing at home. My only complaint about mine is that it clogs very quickly.
I second everything that glauber posted. I like to carry mine in my pocketbook where it comes in handy on the odd occasion.
I third what Glauber and cowtime said. ![]()

New whistles come and go, get lots of play-time, then go back into the drawer again (incorrigible flute player here)
But I’d have to say when all is said and done, the Laughing is consistently the one I pick up most when I’m in a whistle playing mode. It does clog quickly, but it’s tiny silver voice is lovely. It’s been the only one that the family will comment favorably on when I play (as in “Mom, your whistling sounded really good today”) Could it be 'cause it’s kind of quiet? ![]()

I just wonder anyone has had experience about Laughing Aluminum Low D whistle? I assume Laughing Aluminum Low D whistle is good for small hand, needs less air and has sweet/pure tone. Am I right?
