Doc I am seriously interested in this. Do you have a sound clip?

Nevermind, I bought it. Can I come by Saturday to pick it up? I will be heading to Salt Lake.

Beth,
You are? What for? If you have time, we’d love to see you!

Cees

Cees are you going to the session Sunday morning? That’s why I’m coming - I heard it’s a good one.

Alas, no–I don’t attend Sunday session things. A shame they are mostly on Sunday, as I’d love to go!

That’s a shame, but understandable. Well if you are free later in the day or something, let me know.

If I ever manage to play this thing I will post a sound clip for interested parties. Doc never told me that you need Sasquach hands to play!

Welcome to the world of the Low-D

You are using the “Pipers grip” right?

I actually found it to be one of the easier reaches of the low-Ds I’m currently auditioning.

If you don’t want to stretch and want phenomenal rich sound get an offset-pattern Reyburn low-D and use your pinkys on the third holes.

Doc (Sasquawch) Jones

Trying to. I’m getting a lesson in Piper’s Grip from a piper this weekend. Figured I should go to the source.
