last night, was out with the batties

Just thought i’d tell you all this, yesterday after seeing a movie (constantine) i went with my buddy to my local irish pub, paddy reilly’s, my second home.., so to speak.., and guess who i bumped into there?
The whole crew of the battlefield band. yiha. I’m glad to be able to call them my mates, since i’ve seen them often on my yearly travels to edinburgh. Anyway, they’re perfoming this thursday in basel, my buddy and i got free tickets. hehehehe…
boy, these guys sure can put away beer…sheesh..but anyway, we had kebabs together after drinking and all in all it was a splendid night out with the batties. :wink: Aly even told me he’d give me a wee whistle lesson after the concert. :party:

wish I lived closer :stuck_out_tongue: We’d have a blast! As it is, I WAS planning on going to see Cherish the Ladies in Pittsburgh on March 7th (a birthday present to myself), but now my husband has a business trip he has to go on that weekend, and he won’t be back till the 7th, so it looks like I’m not going. He’s going to be gone for my birthday, even. It’s so sad

The closest one would be Cleveland Heights, but even that is about 3 hours away :stuck_out_tongue: The rest are at least 5-6 hours. SIGH!
