I think Larry Collins, of the 1950’s duo the Collins Kids, to be a gifted musician.
He was a child prodigy guitar picker from Oklahoma, and became a star along with his vocalist sister when he was about ten years old.
She enjoyed some success on Ozzie and Harriet, and he went on to pen hit songs such as Delta Dawn and You’re the Reason God Made Oklahoma.
I think Gary Collins was on the Love Boat.
Barnabas and Quentin were on Dark Shadows. (I hear a movie version is in the pipeline.)
That was a fun show, in its way, all these celebrities with their different story lines. At least when I was 4-years old I thought so.
This came up in the “Amazing Grace” thread a few weeks ago.
