Gonna be playing live on the radio with a new band, HANGING OUT TO DRY, this coming Wednesday, May 12, 8 p.m. ET on Jay Ungar & Molly Mason’s syndicated DANCING ON THE AIR program. HANGING OUT TO DRY just came together from some local sessions the last few months: Amy Beshara (fiddle), Pete Ford (guitar/vocal), Steve Wickins (bodhran), L.E. McCullough (tinwhistle/flute/harmonica). Basically Irish trad and some idiomatic originals.

“Idiomatic Originals” — there’s a name for a band!

Still pulling together all the requisite band promo stuff, but a HANGING OUT TO DRY Facebook page does exist. Check it out and listen in Wednesday — we’ve got a 25-minute set.

Larry-- what time is your set?
I’m hoping to be there, but may have a medical conference thing starting at 6. If you’re later in the show I could duck out and make it to the Linda in time. I hope I do get to see/hear you then in person.

Paul, I have asked as to the set time and await reply from the producers… they’ve got a great other band made up of Mothers & Daughters who will play probably some oldtime American tunes, so maybe we will be on later. Appreciate you coming by – but don’t leave the patient on the operating table just for this!
