We got our daughter “Dance Dance Revolution” for her birthday, and she’s been doing a good two hours of dancing a day ever since. My hubby and I were just speculating about video gyms for the younger set when I ran across this article:

Sure is a good way to get the video game generation up and moving!

That game is very fun, but I am awful at it.
It looks like a total gas. I keep thinking I ought to give it a try, if my leg ever gets better (it goes into spasm at the slightest provocation these days…even walking a few blocks down the wharf got me the other day!).
Jo’s been getting better and better at it since she got her own home version of the game. It wasn’t even terribly expensive (I was a bit surprised at how reasonable it was, actually), since we already had the X-Box. I guess it can get quite pricey, if you buy the really fancy pads, but the one she has works well for now.

I got it for my daughter for Christmas in hopes she would get some excersize and shed some pounds. Hasn’t been much of a sucess.
Our daughter loves the arcade version, so we knew she’d get a kick out of having the home version.

We got the game for our kids this past Christmas. They love it! My oldest daughter uses it to fulfill her P.E. requirements. I think it’s wonderful! I’m thinking of using it myself to vary my workout routine. After all, I’m too young to be letting my kids out-cool me!
